On Thursday 9 January 2025 the school was presented the Bronze Healthy school award by the Mayor and his wife Adorabelle Amaral-Shaikh. After receiving the award, the Mayor and his wife was given a tour of the school, and would like to express the following-
"Please sincerely thank all the staff at your school for their dedication and hard work. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and they are deeply appreciated. Together, you make a significant difference in the lives of all the students."
A big thank you also to Tracy Willis for her hard work in helping the school receive this award.
